ALI also provides private customers the use of CAD software and rapid prototyping machines for the study and production of traditional design and research. ALI realizes rendering and 3D models of real or imaginary objects for different needs. ALI offers support services to architects, engineers and goldsmiths, through a rapid prototyping service with ceroplastic material which is essential for a fair review of proportion and a technical factibility study of the 3D model. This service is particularly useful for biomedical, mechanical and air-space sectors. The last step of the prototype creation foresee two options: the transformation of the model in metal (bronze, steel, titanium, gold, silver) in order to carry out structural and dynamics tests; the realization of a model in wax ready to be melted and finished with high precision.
